I have been a fan of bourbon for quite some time. I started Bourbon Aficionado on Google+ back in 2015 so fans of the spirit could share their knowledge. When G+ shutdown, we migrated to MeWe. Today my group is closing in on 3k members and continues to increase. The goal of the group was so that people can ask for recommendations and just general information sharing.

I am also a Certified Executive Bourbon Steward by the Stave and Thief Society. I certified due to my hobby and enjoyment of the beverage.

In order to support my hobby, I have to have a ”real job” and that’s working as a Subject Matter Expert on Cloud at Red Hat. I travel a lot for work (in normal years) so it provided me ample opportunity to locate, taste and buy bourbon around the country (and out of it!)
